In less than 24 hours, Germantown Avenue will come alive at the Revolutionary Germantown Festival!
We want to remind everyone that Germantown Avenue will be closed between Upsal and Johnson Streets from 9 AM to 5 PM. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods on a first come, first serve basis. Tomorrow is bringing beautiful weather, so be sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray as well as ear plugs or headphones for the reenactments. Our grounds are wheelchair accessible.
While you’re at the festival, be sure to pick up a program book-they’ll be available at the information table and handed out by our volunteers and are full of information from local businesses (and a few coupons too ), an event schedule for the day, and more. Also, we encourage all visitors to participate in our survey. Cliveden and PhilaLandmarks are holding community conversations about gun violence and its role in our nation’s history and personal lives. A raffle will be drawn and a prize will be awarded a few days after the festival.
Start your Columbus Day weekend off right by coming to the Revolutionary Germantown Festival. We promise it’ll be a day you won’t forget! https://www.visitphilly.com/…/columbus-day-weekend-events…/…
