Investigating the Work Yard

October 26, 2022

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Archaeologist Richie Roy presents the findings from an archaeological investigation of the Cliveden work yard, part of the Cliveden Cultural Landscape Project. Ground penetrating radar, shovel test pits and several targeted excavations in the work yard yielded information adding to the study of how the property was developed and used before and during occupation by the Chew family and those who worked and labored at Cliveden.

Investigating the Work Yard is free to the public and will be presented on Zoom. Registration is required on our website: https://cliveden.org/cliveden-conversations/. Registrants will receive the Zoom presentation link the day before the program. If you do not receive it, please contact our office at 215-848-1777.
