Memory, Hope and Resistance: presented by Les Dames d’Escoffier
Chef Angela Johnson has curated a program for Black History Month: Memory, Hope and Resistance celebrating the voices of the formerly enslaved with readings from “To Address you as my Friend.” There will be a ceremony honoring the ancestors conducted by Desi Brittingham, Yoruba Priest of Yemoja. Readings done by Elijah Pringle, Lisa Amos, and Phillip Brown. Discussion afterwards with lunch provided by Chef Tanesha Trippett and Chef Mona Wilson.
