About the tour

Step back in time and meet Henry Banning Chew, one of the sons and executors of Benjamin Chew Jr. Henry will guide visitors on a first-person tour through the house and grounds; each tour is a one-hour experience and offered at 12pm, 1:30pm, and 3pm.

Admission is $20. Tours are limited to 15 people per tour.

Getting Here & Additional Information

Cliveden's physical address is 6401 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144 and is accessible by car and public transportation. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods on a first come, first serve basis. For directions, see the Visit webpage.

Each tour begins in the Cliveden Barn, located at 98 E. Cliveden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19119 (near the corner of Cliveden and Morton Streets). A Cliveden Interpreter will greet visitors, give a brief introduction to the site, and lead visitors over to the House.
