Changes Over Time: Exploring the Landscape

November 16, 2022

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Architectural and landscape historian Emily Cooperman will discuss her research for the Cliveden Cultural Landscape Project, a comprehensive study about the history of the landscape, occupied by the Chew family and their households as a country seat, 1763-1970. The project surveyed and documented the design and chronology of the natural, horticultural and built features of the landscape as the property was established, expanded and subdivided, and Philadelphia developed around it.

The Cliveden Conversation is free to the public and will be presented on Zoom.
